Christiane Salge has been professor of History of Architecture and Art at the Technical University of Darmstadt since 2017. Before that, she was assistant professor at the Freie Universität of Berlin and project leader of the DFG project “Baukunst und Wissenschaft. Architektenausbildung um 1800 am Beispiel der Berliner Bauakademie”. Her research focuses on the history and theory of architecture from the early modern period to the beginning of classical modernism. She is a founding member of the Center for Critical Studies in Architecture (CCSA). Important publications include: Anton Johann Ospel.
