Leonie Plänkers

Doctoral Researcher

Leonie Plänkers researches at the interface between urban planning, architecture and society. She studied architecture at TU Darmstadt and the university of Florence, graduating in 2011 with a thesis in urban design. She then worked in the practical field of urban development, citizen participation, and urban design until 2019. Since 2017, Leonie Plänkers has been a research and teaching associate at the Chair of Urban Design at TU Darmstadt (held by Prof. Dr. Nina Gribat until 2019). At “Architectures of Order”, she is preparing her dissertation on the impacts of urban reconstruction projects.
